Fly Tying Lessons
For the fly fishing angler there is likely no greater pleasure than to catch a fish on a fly pattern that you have tied, with the exception of catching another...
I have been tying both fresh and saltwater patterns for twenty years and providing fly tying lessons to adults and children, from the novice to the advanced tyer in both classroom and individualized  environments. In 1995 I started United Fly Tyers of Rhode Island (UFTRI) with two friends, a club that has enjoyed considerable success and that has taught hundreds of individuals the art and fun of fly tying . I teach fly tying for both fresh and saltwater applications and I conduct individual classes at my home and at the home of my students. I am also available to teach and demonstrate fly tying  at various fly fishing and fly tying shows and seminars.
Rates
- Private (1 student)- $50 / hour- includes all materials and use of my tying tools
- Group Instruction- rates vary depending on the size of the group
